Pitch Black: A Dusklight Story Commission
Last year I was approached to create the promotional artwork for Pitch Black: A Dusklight Story. The computer game itself is a truly unique project in that there are little to no graphics involved – the main point of the game is to navigate using … Continue readingPitch Black: A Dusklight Story Commission
Hindsight: Autumn 2019
The Hindsight collection started life accidentally in 2018. Over the last couple of years before I absent-mindedly returned to an idea of a character that I used to sketch out years ago. I recently found the original image it was all based on and was … Continue readingHindsight: Autumn 2019
Portraits
Not a style or subject that I tend to be drawn towards generally, but when Danielle Ross decided to move on from Dubrek Studios I spent a couple of months drawing her based on a photo I had taken in the beer garden the summer … Continue readingPortraits
Gig Posters
At the start of 2019 i began booking gigs as One Zero Presents and for four of the bookings I created custom A4 prints as gig posters. These are a mixture of photography and basic layering, with vector graphics added on top. There’s a few … Continue readingGig Posters
Gig Photography Archive: Part 1
From around late 2017 i started developing an interest and own sense of style and framing with gig photography, mainly of local bands, or bands performing to the local area with a few notable exceptions. At the start of 2019 I took on booking gigs … Continue readingGig Photography Archive: Part 1
Bonsall Arts Trail 4th/5th April 2020 Postponed
Bittersweet to find out that the Bonsall Arts Trail is postponed until 2021, but agree that it’s the best decision in the current circumstances. If anybody would like to buy a print or order a custom size version, or comission, then give me an email … Continue readingBonsall Arts Trail 4th/5th April 2020 Postponed

Lauderdale Set – 2019
Lauderdale Set – 2019 As you come out of The Barbican London Underground Station from a particular entrance, the first thing you’re greeted with is a crossroads with a plethora of odd painted lines on the road. Look up and there’s raised balcony sections holding … Continue readingLauderdale Set – 2019
Snow – February 2020
We saw a single day of snow at the start of 2020 and i took it. Whilst it was falling i got out the Holga pinhole lens to see what i could capture. I was expecting it all to wash out entirely with the bright … Continue readingSnow – February 2020
Fog – December 2019
An eerie fog descended us in mid-December so i took the opportunity to see how my Holga pinhole lens would play during the daytime with reduced lighting. Usually on sunny days the light swamps any long exposure shot excessively, but the fog allowed me to … Continue readingFog – December 2019
Carousel – November 2019
One of the Twin Lakes theme parks has an old fashioned horse carousel. A long exposure of it going around using the pinhole lens generated some fun fluid images.
Traffic Lights – October 2019
A drive to Nottingham (I was the passenger) which took us past the traffic lights on the roundabout near Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham University. Given the winter darkness, i thought I would absent mindedly take some long exposures. A few of them came out … Continue readingTraffic Lights – October 2019
Hindsight Exhibition at Dubrek Studios
On the 18th October 2019, the Hindsight collection made its debut at Dubrek Studios in conjunction with a free gig. Friends from seven counties travelled up for the night. The atmosphere and company was very much appreciated. Most of the photos here that document the … Continue readingHindsight Exhibition at Dubrek Studios
Psychic Dancehall – October 2019
We dimmed the lights for the second Psychic Dancehall night at the studio and played around with the lamps. Each of these pinhole long exposures have either moving subjects, or had the camera repositioned partway through the timer.
